HLM Outdoor Services is based in Elburn, Illinois, serving St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia and about a 25-mile radius of the Fox Valley. Landscaping, hardscaping, and the seasons in between.
Our Approach

Owner Alex Hazima started in this industry at fourteen and has spent about a decade building outdoor spaces around the Fox Valley — first for one of the area’s big landscape companies, then with HLM, the company he built to do the work his own way.
Every job starts with a site consultation: we walk the property with you, sort out needs versus wants, and put a plan in writing — a straightforward estimate for most projects, or a full 3D design for the bigger ones. Once work starts, you get a text when the crew is on the way, a real timeline, and a manager who knows your project and answers when you call.
We build spaces meant to hold up for twenty or thirty years, and we live here too — so we stand behind them.

One Crew For The Whole Property
Most properties need more than one trade. A patio needs grading before pavers. New planting beds need the right drainage. A backyard pool needs everything around it to work as hard as the pool itself. From mowing and seasonal cleanups to full design-build projects, we handle the whole picture — so you are not coordinating three different companies to finish one yard.

HLM is based on Route 38 in Elburn and works across the Fox Valley and Chicago’s far western suburbs, including Elburn, St. Charles, Geneva, Batavia, Campton Hills, South Elgin, Wayne, Sugar Grove, North Aurora, Maple Park and Elgin. If you are nearby and do not see your town, ask. Most of our crews are within a short drive.
